Frequently Asked Questions
Andee Fabricators handles structural steel repairs, mezzanine and platform framework repairs, storage rack repairs, workbench modifications, staircase and handrail repairs, and general steel fabrication repairs. Every job is assessed at our Minto workshop before we quote, so you get an accurate price based on what we can actually see.
Yes. Rust cutting and welding, cracked weld repairs, and structural reinforcement are all core repair work. We cut out corroded or failed sections, weld in new steel, and reinforce stress points so the structure returns to safe working strength. Once repaired, we can finish with paint, powder coat, or galvanising to protect against future corrosion.
Yes. Rack reconfiguration for new stock, workbench height or layout changes, added shelving, and modified access points are common jobs. Modification is often cheaper than replacement when the base structure is sound — just bring the item to our Minto workshop for assessment.
Cost depends on the extent of damage or modification, materials required, welding involved, and any finishing like paint or powder coat. Because every repair job is different, we assess in-workshop first and give you a transparent, itemised quote before any work starts.
Repairs and modifications are workshop-based at our Minto facility (15/13 Swaffham Rd, Minto NSW 2566). Bringing the item in lets us properly assess the damage or modification requirement — which is essential for accurate quoting. For large or immovable items, on-site work can be discussed as a separate arrangement.
Yes. As part of the assessment, we give you an honest recommendation based on the condition of the item, the cost of repair, and the likely lifespan afterwards. If replacement is the smarter path, we can quote a new build alongside the repair option so you can compare directly.
Simple welding repairs turn around quickly once the item is at our workshop. Larger structural repairs or complex modifications take longer depending on materials, welding, and finishing. We confirm a realistic timeline at the quote stage.
Yes. Alongside steel repairs, we handle aluminium repairs (using TIG welding) and stainless steel repairs where required. Material handling is confirmed at the assessment stage.
Both. Small trade repairs, one-off bracket fixes, and single workbench modifications are welcome alongside larger commercial and industrial repair work. If it is metal and it needs fixing or changing, it is worth a conversation.
Our workshop is in Minto NSW. We accept drop-offs and can arrange pickup and delivery across Sydney and wider NSW — including South West Sydney, Western Sydney, the Inner West, Sutherland Shire, the CBD, and Northern suburbs.
