Structural Steel Fabrication
Built for Strength
Andee Fabricators is a Sydney structural steel fabricator producing beams, columns, mezzanine framework, staircases, and load-bearing components for commercial and industrial builds. Every structural steel project is fabricated at our Minto workshop from engineered drawings, welded to Australian standards, and delivered site-ready.

Frequently Asked Questions
Structural steel fabrication is the cutting, welding, drilling, and assembly of steel sections into load-bearing components for buildings and structures. At Andee Fabricators, we fabricate structural steel to engineered drawings at our Minto workshop and finish it ready for site install — with the structural welds and connection details built to Australian standards.
Our Sydney structural steel fabrication covers universal beams and columns (UB, UC), parallel flange channels (PFC), portal frames, mezzanine framework, staircases and landings, handrails and balustrades, and custom structural connections and gussets. If it is a structural component and it can be drawn, we can fabricate it.
Cost depends on tonnage, section sizes, welding complexity, connections and detail work, finishing (paint, powder coat, or galvanising), and delivery. Because every structural project varies, we quote each job individually after reviewing your drawings — you get an itemised, transparent price rather than a generic per-tonne figure.
Lead times depend on tonnage, complexity, steel availability, and finishing. A small mezzanine or single staircase turns around faster than a full portal frame or multi-level structural build. Once we have reviewed your engineered drawings, we confirm a realistic timeline before you commit.
Both. If you have engineered structural drawings, we work directly from them and produce detailed shop drawings for your approval before fabrication. If your drawings need detailing, we work with your engineer or trusted engineering partners to finalise the details.
We regularly work with grade 300 mild steel, higher-strength structural grades where required, and galvanised structural sections for corrosive environments. Material selection is based on load requirements, span, and where the steel will be installed.
Yes. Depending on the application, we finish structural steel with paint (standard indoor use), powder coating (indoor decorative applications), or hot-dip galvanising (outdoor and long-life structural work). Finishing is coordinated as part of your project and confirmed at the quote stage.
Yes. Once fabrication is complete, structural steel is delivered to your Sydney construction site, ready for install by your builder or structural crew. Delivery and logistics are confirmed as part of the quote.
Both. We take on small mezzanine additions, single staircases, and one-off structural components as well as larger commercial and industrial builds. If it is structural steel and it can be drawn, it is worth a conversation.
Our workshop is at 15/13 Swaffham Rd, Minto NSW 2566. We deliver fabricated structural steel to construction sites across Greater Sydney and wider NSW — including South West Sydney, Western Sydney, the Inner West, Sutherland Shire, the CBD, and Northern suburbs.
